My name is Ricardo, I am a counsellor, Gestalt therapist, supervisor, and practitioner informed by parts-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems.
Before using these recordings, it is important to understand how this material is intended to be used.
These recordings are educational and reflective practices designed to support awareness of your inner experience.
They are not therapy, and they are not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, or professional mental health care.
These practices are intended mainly for people who are already engaged in therapy or counselling, especially those working with parts-based or Internal Family Systems–informed approaches, and who wish to continue supporting their personal development between sessions.
You are responsible for deciding whether these practices are suitable for you.
If you have a history of trauma, dissociation, severe anxiety, or other mental health difficulties, it is recommended that you use these materials with the knowledge and support of your therapist or counsellor.
If at any point you feel overwhelmed, distressed, or unsafe while using these recordings, stop the practice and return your attention to your surroundings, your body, and your breathing.
